Wayzata is 15-0 and ranked #2 in the state. They are a skilled team with great balance. They can shoot the 3 well and have a strong inside game led by Chris Taylor and Jake Westlund.

The Varsity is 12-5, Junior Varsity is 5-8; the Sophomore team is 12-3; 9th grade record 17-3 and Freshmen B team is 8-8.

Andy Seidlitz freshman who was 8 for 10 on three pointers and scored 34 points in 70 - 41 win vs. Cretin. Seiditz has hit 28 threes in last 5 games in current 5 game winning steak.

| Good to be Home: |
It has been 17 days since we played a home game. During that span we had wins at Moorhead and Minneapolis North and played a competitive game at Hopkins.

| Strength of Schedule: |
We are proud of our big wins this season over ranked teams including, Woodbury and Shakopee. According to Minnesota-Scores.Com's power rankings we are ranked 6th in the state and Wayzata is ranked 2nd. We hve played 12 teams with winning records. We travel to #1 rated (AAA) St. Thomas Academy next Tuesday and return home for a Classic Lake tilt with Minnetonka next Friday.

We have two non-conference and seven conference game remaining before section play. The records for Classic Lake teams are as follows: Hopkins 15-1 (#1 in state rankings), Wayzata 15-0 (rated #2), Edina 12-5 (rated #6 last week), Armstrong 12-5 (rated #8 last week), Minnetonka 11-5.

Our players read to students at Zachary Lane Elementary today A special thanks goes out to Candy Kaitz and Joann Kostka organizing this fun event. We will read at three more elementary schools in February.

| Congratulations to Alex Rubin : |
Alex Rubin became the 5th player in Armstrong history to score 1000 points for a career in our game vs. Forest Lake. Everette Pedescleaux 1474, Jon Bryant 1181, Jason Johnson 1043 and Todd Anderson 1033 are the others. Prior to the game tonight there will be a brief ceremony to honor this achievement.
